KDS must have had 50 people there that night. All were not overt, but
no matter. At least ONE of those guys should have checked inside the
bases. While I totally see your point, I also must say that this is not
a tactic/whatever that is hard to stop, if people wouldnt be caught so
up in the fighting that they didnt notice they were led away from the
bases etc.
We probably wont see this tactic anymore, atleast not successfully applied to anyones base.
And btw, I'm Vhycers brother, and let's just say that he's the nice one of us two

I think by doing this once you've made it very hard to do a second time, almost impossible to do a third. At least to KDS.

Was the satisfaction of having the plan work better than actually destroying the base ? Would
you have had the same satisfaction using these tactics against, say

thing i showed u when i logged in and out, was that u cant kill me if i
wanted to, i could have logged out, even if i was still there in the
game for 3-5min u would never killed me anyway.
And btw, u should join some Marathon as mutch as u run everytime u see me or raimaile comming...

I feel the need to chime in, even if I wasn't there during the attack (slaps self silly).
All
this talk about fair play, and not using exploits is a very loaded
term. For instance, we all felt CMs were incredibly overpowered in the
game mechanics and none of us had it in our template. We only had doc
skills so we could counter it. Now, doing something like this severely
handicaps you, because you can never rely on that everyone else will
follow your "Code of Conduct". As long as it's "In the game", people
WILL use it.
So, after a while, we adopt the "Win by any means"
way. This isn't as negative as it sounds. It may involve stuff like
using a squad leader on a second account spamming commands. It may
involve logging out a base demo team inside a base. It may involve
having everyone use the "best templates" (fencers, riflemen, CMs
etc....). The fact of the matter is, this becomes a rather fun and
healthy competition. So long as both sides can deal with it.
As
Molan is the leader of KDS, and has through his posts stated that he
approves of actions like this, we should all continue with this
"one-upmanship". Honestly, its incredible fun to try out ingenious and
unorthodox ideas to try and break the stale-mate. Ofcourse, we could
all whine and complain that the GCW system ins SWG is broken and refuse
to participate.... OR we could do like Raphael and Molan are doing in
ADAPTING and fighting on. In the meantime, the devs will change combat
system, the flaws and the exploits, but it is unrealistic to imagine
that if an exploit exists, people will be too honourable to not use it.
Taking
on KDS has been the greatest challenge in the GCW for the ReDevils. All
sorts of tricks have been used, and we have had to deal with them
countering and adopting some our methods (Note to self, KDS 20 man
squads with squad leaders are well tough. Don't give them any ideas
like that ).
We used squadleader, KDS countered with using squadleaders with Jedi.
We needed a new trick, and we sought out Zi'chi the Jedi guardian to
help us out. (All it took was signing over my soul, and him taunting me
on TS about how I sound like a South African )

show ReDevils for pulling this off. It has been said that taking down a
base (in prime time) in Luxor was impossible, well, some of you
Redevils (You know who you are...) are too stupid to know what
impossible means . Molan, repsect to you for having your attitude and competitive spirit. Fighting people like you is an honour.
You dont usually see me post much on these battlereports, and you
dont usually see me spam much in spatial. And yesterday is another day
im happy I didnt start spamming in spatial, because I just arrived in
nyms, when I got word our base was down, and due to a "bug". I was
thinking like probably all KDS and other Imperial presence that were
present in Lux at the time - "OMG THE REBELS EXPLOITED OUR BASE".
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, but I think I'll just
appologize on behalf of some of our members that started spamming
not-so-nice-words in spatial, and the other imps that were there that
did the same. You (rebels) know sometimes it isn't easy to control your
motions for a split-second, and thats all it takes. With you guys
standing around Lux trolling, it is easy to let the flames flow.
Anyways, VERY good tactics! Just a shame I didnt arrive with my
evil poison earlier and you might have fallen earlier, and we
might have gone inside the base..

just fought it like 5 minutes, Luxor is the place I like to fight best

- Im impressed over Your memory, as You seems to have it
correctly quoted. However I tried to trick You to believe it was an
exploit, its not. It happends when You store Your bike and a ghost bike
remains in the world or when its severe lagg and the bike autostores at
cloning in another zone (the last one happend and I was lucky).

and try again when You can PvP without all bars buffed and not
accompanied by others. Fyi I PvP most of the time solo and unbuffed (I
enjoy it), I have had mind buff like 10 times in 1 year of playing. I
run sometimes if I can see its not possible to win and/or if I have
something I need to insure.

I do not expect all rebels to understand this, but I will try.
KDS is a RP guild. We have a command structure, that gives a certain
room for everyone there. People who join are asked to follow the chain
of command and act according to our CoC (Code of Conduct).
But with this said, we have to remember that people who joins are of
various age, opinion and feelings. With a memberslist at 100+, it
becomes hard, even impossible to keep people from sharing there
emotions when the GCW has been set at a level like this.
When you see Colonel Molan, or another HC (High Council) member
appoligize on behalf of the members, you must understand that its
something thats almost impossible to stop.
To Raphael and all other who keeps getting so offended and
thereafter using them as official statements from KDS and our answer to
your achievement, then you are wrong.
Unless you see a HC member post our official statements, its just
people expressing their feelings. We do promise that we will continue
to ask our members not to go into flames or any controvercial threads.
I
have to say this thread (and the comments by Bubble after the event)
leaves a bitter taste after a GREAT bit of PvP. I really enjoy that
battle and then to come hear and insult each other like this really
devalues it. I thought both sides fought really well and the CM's
didn't seem to ruin it too badly as there is now SOOOO many docs
